Abstract Submission

 

The abstract submission for SPIN Congress 2025 will open in Octobre 2024!  We are pleased to share with you the abstract submission information for the 8th Congress of the Skin Inflammation & Psoriasis International Network – SPIN 2025 that will take place in Paris, France, on July 2-4, 2025.

The submission platform will be available from October 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024. We kindly ask you to read these guidelines before submitting your abstract.

RULES

  1. Your abstract can only be submitted via the online platform: https://spin2025.abstractserver.com/submission/
  2. Only the abstract submitted via the online platform will be accepted.
  3. All accepted abstracts will be presented as PHYSICAL posters. Numerous posters will be selected to be visited during dedicated poster walks.
  4. Your submission may be eligible for the Poster Award. If you are selected for the Poster Award, you will be required to attend the closing ceremony on July 4, 2025 during which you will briefly present your poster.
  5. An abstract can be submitted to the SPIN 2025 if it has not been published previously and/or only presented at a national meeting less than 1 year ago.
  6. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  7. Abstracts must contain data and meet international ethical standards.
  8. Abbreviations may be used after defining them first.
  9. Trade names and company names cannot be mentioned in the title. However, trade names in brackets will be accepted in the body of the text if they are necessary to differentiate from similar products or to specify certain delivery devices or modes of application.
  10. A comprehensive presentation of a complete project is highly recommended. Cutting a study in two abstracts is prohibited and will be sanctioned by the refusal of abstracts.
  11. A reviewing committee will review the submitted abstracts. The reviewers will judge the abstracts according to the relevance, standard of English, objectivity of statements, description of what was done, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by objective results, ethics, scientific value, potential clinical value, originality of work and overall impression.
  12. The notification of acceptance will be sent by Mid-March 2025.
  13. The approval of an abstract implies that the presenting author must register to SPIN 2025 to present his/her poster.
  14. The submitting author must be present next to his/her poster during the time of the poster walk to present and to respond to questions.

PUBLICATION POLICY

  1. If you need to withdraw your abstract, you can connect on your space and withdraw it until December 31, 2024.
  2. Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors. No corrections are possible after the submission deadline. The abstract will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proofreading will be done.
  3. All abstracts accepted will be published online.

Abstract Structure

  1. Abstracts must have the following structure:
  • Background
  • Objective
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  1. Abstract’s length: The abstract must not contain more than 250 words (blank spaces, punctuation included). The abstracts’ title as well as the authors’ affiliation are not included.
  2. Tables, figures & images: It is possible to include a table, figures, and pictures, which are included in the overall count. The table must not exceed 5 columns and 5 rows.
  3. Special characters: you can insert special characters (ex: greek letters) and format your text (ex: underline, bold or italic).

TECHNICAL GUIDELINES

  1. Account creation
  • Account creation is mandatory to submit an abstract. If you forgot your password, you may request to send a reminder email.
  1. Submission of an abstract
  • Complete the abstract structure and the characteristics. Items marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. The system will inform you if you have not fulfilled all the mandatory fields.
  • Do not repeat the title of your abstract, authors names or headers of each field that will be automatically added to your abstract.
  • The size of included images might be adjusted. The format will be unified for all abstracts.
  • Make sure to carefully check your abstract preview before validating the submission.
  • We recommend you to not open your abstract submission on multiple devices to avoid losing data entered on another device.
  • Please note that you can edit your abstract until the deadline. No corrections are possible after the submission deadline.
  • To submit another abstract, you will not need to re-enter your details.
  1. List of authors
  • Submitting author: person who submits the abstract and who will receive information.
  • Presenting author: person who will present the abstract at the meeting and who is marked as the presenter in the congress programme. Registration is mandatory for the presenting author.
  • Co-author: cited co-author who scientifically endorses the abstract and is therefore responsible for its content.
  • By clicking the button « Add author » you can add co-authors in your abstract. You can change the order of authors by selecting the number.
  • Please enter the full name (in full) in lower case (first letter capitalized).

  1. Conflict of interest
  • Conflict of interests: Authors and co-authors must declare during the submission, any financial or other interests with a company in connection with the work presented.
  1. Confirmation
  • You will receive your submission confirmation by email with the abstract preview attached. Once the submitter validates the abstract, all co-authors will be notified by email.
